一,、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)

. Educational Objectives

本專業(yè)為地方經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展培養(yǎng)德,、智,、體、美全面發(fā)展,,掌握扎實(shí)的金屬材料科學(xué)與工程方面的基礎(chǔ)知識(shí),,具有金屬材料的設(shè)計(jì)、選用和熱處理工藝,、設(shè)備設(shè)計(jì)的初步能力,,能夠在金屬熱處理、腐蝕與防護(hù),、表面工程,、金屬材料加工、材料研究與分析等領(lǐng)域從事工藝及設(shè)備設(shè)計(jì),、技術(shù)開(kāi)發(fā)與改造,、運(yùn)行管理等方面工作的具有創(chuàng)新精神和實(shí)踐能力的高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型工程技術(shù)人才。

This specialty aims to cultivate application-oriented high-level talents, who will be fully developed morally, intellectually, physically, and aesthetically, who will be qualified for the industrial development and local economic construction with innovative spirits and practical working ability. Students of our specialty will have a good basis of knowledge and engineering practice in metallic material science and engineering. They are expected to have a preliminary capacity of designing and selecting metal materials, heat treatment processing and equipment design. With these qualities, they could be qualified for various jobs such as process and equipment design, technical development and reconstruction, operational management in the fields of metals heat treatment, corrosion and protection, surface engineering, metal material processing, and materials research and analysis, etc.

二,、培養(yǎng)要求

. Training Requirements

1.畢業(yè)生應(yīng)獲得以下幾方面的知識(shí)與能力:

1)掌握較扎實(shí)的自然科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí),,具有良好的人文社會(huì)科學(xué)和外語(yǔ)綜合能力;

2)掌握材料科學(xué),、機(jī)械工程等基礎(chǔ)理論,,具有本專業(yè)必須的機(jī)械、電工與電子技術(shù),、計(jì)算機(jī)應(yīng)用的基本知識(shí)和技能,;

3)掌握金屬材料加工、金屬熱處理等方面的專業(yè)知識(shí)和技術(shù)管理知識(shí),,具有金屬材料選用,、熱處理工藝設(shè)計(jì)與設(shè)備選擇的初步能力;

4)掌握金屬熱處理檢驗(yàn)及產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量控制基本方法,;

5)掌握文獻(xiàn)檢索及運(yùn)用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)獲取相關(guān)信息的基本能力,;

6)具有研究開(kāi)發(fā)新材料、新工藝和新設(shè)備的初步能力;

7具有良好的口頭表達(dá)和人際溝通與交往能力,,能在團(tuán)隊(duì)中積極發(fā)揮作用,,具備一定的組織管理能力

8)具備終身學(xué)習(xí)的意識(shí),,具有較強(qiáng)的自學(xué)能力和適應(yīng)專業(yè)發(fā)展所必需的能力,;

9)具有健康的體魄和良好的心理素質(zhì)。

The graduates of this specialty are expected to acquire the following knowledge, capabilities and qualities:

1Mastering the well-knit basic knowledge of natural sciences, a good knowledge in humanities and social sciences and a comprehensive ability of using foreign language;

2Mastering fundamental theories of materials science and mechanical engineering, and having necessary basic knowledge and skills required for this specialty, including mechanism, electrical engineering and electronic technology as well as computer application,;

3Mastering specialized knowledge and technical management ability in metallic materials process and metal heat treatment, and having some initial capabilities of metal material selection, heat treatment process design and selection of metallic materials and equipment,;

4Mastering the basic methods of examining and controlling metallic produce’ quality

5Having the basic capabilities of information query, document retrieval by means of modern information technology;

6Having a preliminary ability of doing scientific research in developing new materials, techniques and equipment;

7Having good communication skills especially in speaking and writing with good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of playing an active role in teamwork; Having a certain ability of organizational management;

8Having a strong ability of independent learning and lifelong learning awareness, with the adaptive ability to the continuous development of the specialty;

9Having a healthy body and good psychological quality.

Major Courses: Fundamentals of Materials Science, Principles of Heating Processing, Technology of Heating Processing, Metallic Materials Science, Surface Engineering, Wear Theory and Materials, Mechanical and Physical Metallurgy Properties of Metallic Materials, Fundamentals of Materials Processing, Micro-analysis of Materials, and Heat Treatment Equipment

五、學(xué)制與學(xué)位

. Duration of Program and Degree

學(xué)制:四年,,按照學(xué)分制管理機(jī)制,,實(shí)行三至六年彈性學(xué)習(xí)年限。

Duration:Four Years, In accordance with the credit system management mechanism, flexible learning years from three to six years,is implemented.

學(xué)位:符合《洛陽(yáng)理工學(xué)院學(xué)士學(xué)位授予工作細(xì)則》規(guī)定的畢業(yè)生授予工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,。

Awarded Degree: The graduate whoever meets with the provisions of ‘Bachelor’s Degree Granting Regulations of Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology’ will be conferred the Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering.
